The rapid advancement of immersive technologies, particularly virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), is transforming contemporary educational practices. These technologies enable interactive, engaging, and experiential learning environments that enhance student motivation, knowledge retention, and skill development. This paper investigates the integration of VR and AR in various educational settings, including K-12 classrooms, higher education, and professional training programs. By reviewing existing literature, analyzing case studies, and examining implementation frameworks, the study explores how immersive technologies can address learning challenges, foster personalized education, and promote collaborative experiences. The findings indicate that VR and AR have significant potential to enhance cognitive and experiential learning outcomes while overcoming limitations of traditional instructional methods. However, challenges such as cost, accessibility, technological literacy, and content development remain critical factors for widespread adoption. The paper concludes by proposing strategies for effective integration, highlighting future research directions, and emphasizing the importance of pedagogically informed deployment of immersive technologies in education.
