Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism is a serious breach of academic ethics and integrity. The International Journal of Innovative Science and Technology Studies (IJISTS) maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of plagiarism or unethical academic practice. All manuscripts submitted to IJISTS are thoroughly checked for similarity using advanced plagiarism detection software before publication consideration.
Policy Guidelines
- Zero Tolerance: IJISTS strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, duplication, or unauthorized use of another’s work.
- Similarity Index Limit: The overall similarity index must not exceed 19%, and similarity from a single source must not exceed 4%.
- Author Declaration: All authors are required to submit a duly signed Author Originality Declaration Form confirming that their submission is original and free from plagiarism.
Guidelines to Avoid Plagiarism
- Do not use another person’s ideas, writings, or inventions without proper acknowledgment.
- Always give appropriate credit to the sources you consult or quote.
- Refrain from using any published or unpublished work without citation.
- Avoid collaboration or joint work when individual authorship is required.
- Do not copy text, figures, or data from online sources without proper citation.
- Never reuse portions of your own previously published work (self-plagiarism).
The IJISTS Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any manuscript found to violate plagiarism standards. Under no circumstances will the journal publish a paper with a similarity index exceeding the specified limits of 19% overall or 4% from a single source.
