Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across industries, offering innovative pathways to achieve the goals of sustainable development. By integrating intelligent systems into production, management, and service delivery processes, AI enhances resource efficiency, reduces waste, and promotes environmentally responsible growth. This study presents a cross-industry analysis of how AI technologies are driving sustainable development in sectors such as energy, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation. Using a mixed-methods approach that combines literature synthesis and comparative analysis, the paper examines real-world implementations of AI-driven solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results indicate that AI contributes significantly to energy optimization, precision agriculture, and predictive maintenance, while also enabling more equitable access to health and education. However, the study also highlights emerging challenges, including algorithmic bias, data privacy concerns, and unequal access to AI technologies across regions. The discussion underscores the importance of developing ethical AI frameworks, cross-sector collaborations, and policies that foster inclusivity and transparency. Ultimately, this research emphasizes that AI, when responsibly designed and deployed, has the potential to be a catalyst for global sustainability and innovation.
